The MTI “Gun Maker” Training Packet is composed of our 5 “Gun Maker” training plans developed for full-time Law Enforcement SWAT/SRT athletes.
The “Gun Maker” plans have been updated in November 2019 and represent the most recent iteration of our Fluid Periodization model where we train the 5 fitness attributes of a SWAT/SRT Athletes:
- Relative Strength
- Work Capacity
- Tactical Speed, Explosive Power, and Agility (TAC SEPA)
- Endurance (running)
- Chassis Integrity
The price for this packet represents about 20% savings over purchasing the plans individually.

Can I see sample training?
Yes – click on each individual training plan above, then click the “Sample Training” tab at the plan product page to see sample training.
Required Equipment?
- Fully-equipped functional fitness gym including racks, barbells, bumper plates, plyo boxes, dumbbells or kettlebells, sandbags (40/60/80#).
- Sprinting area for sprints/shuttles up to 25m. These can be outside.
- 25# Weight Vest or Individual Body Armor (IBA)
- Stopwatch with a countdown interval timer.
What if I miss a day?
Begin where you left off when you return to training. This program is progressed – each session builds upon the prior session – so don’t skip a session or skip around. Follow the training sessions in order, regardless.

Access is online, via username and password. You can log in either through our website or through our app (Mtn Tactical Fitness) available for IOS and Android.
