The FBI SWAT Selection Packet is intended to prepare you for the PST and Selection demands required to become a member of regional-level FBI SWAT Teams. This packet includes 28 weeks of training, built to prepare you for the events and demands commonly seen at SWAT Selections and Fitness Assessments. The packet includes:
- FBI SWAT PST Training Plan – 4 Weeks: Prepares the SWAT Candidate to meet and exceed the FBI PST requirements.
- Ruger – 7 Weeks: Base fitness with Density Barbell Strength, Work Capacity, Tactical Agility, Endurance targeting a 3-mile run, and Chassis Integrity.
- Glock – 7 Weeks: Dumbbell/Kettlebell Strength, loaded 1.5 mile run work, 10-20 minute Work Capacity training, Tactical Agility and Chassis Integrity
- FBI SWAT Selection Training Plan – 7 Weeks: Event-specific training to prepare the candidate for the demands of SWAT Selection.
The FBI SWAT Selection Training Plan includes a deload/taper week, so the candidate can complete the programming leading directly up to the start date of the selection.
The price for this packet represents a 25% savings over purchasing the plans individually.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- Fully equipped functional fitness weight room
- 40/60/80# Sandbags
- Ruck for rucking and ruck running. 10# sledge/dumbbell.
- Stopwatch with interval timer (Timex is best)
- GPS Watch (recommended – will make measuring rucking distances and pacing much easier)

We recommend the order listed above.
Can I see sample training?
Yes – click on each individual training plan above, then click the “Sample Training” tab at the plan product page to see sample training.
Required Equipment?
- Fully-equipped functional fitness gym including racks, barbells, bumper plates, plyo boxes, dumbbells or kettlebells, sandbags (40/60/80#).
- Sprinting area for sprints/shuttles up to 25m. These can be outside.
- 25# Weight Vest or Individual Body Armor (IBA)
- Stopwatch with a countdown interval timer.
What if I miss a day?
Begin where you left off when you return to training. This program is progressed – each session builds upon the prior session – so don’t skip a session or skip around. Follow the training sessions in order, regardless.

Can I print out sessions to take to the gym?
Yes – you can print a week of programming at a time.

How do I access the plan?
Access is online, via username and password. You can log in either through our website or through our app (Mtn Tactical Fitness) available for IOS and Android.
