Been Putting Your Time In?
Training? Grinding?
Did you skip it today?
Progress lives at the sharp edge of failure – tilted just slightly toward success.
Six reps you’ll get it. Five, you won’t.
Battling on this edge is intense. Too exhausting to spend long there. Avoid it, and you’ll stall, then regress.
Early on, gains come quick. Then progress slows. Without steady improvement, frustration festers. It seems hopeless. You’ll itch to quit.
Most days, the battle doesn’t yield progress. But you always learn something. Stack enough lessons and improvement follows, sure as gravity.
Perhaps you’ll come to enjoy the “journey” or appreciate the “process.” Perhaps not.
It might suck forever.
Doesn’t matter. You’ve still got to put the time in.
