Wyatt Jobe

Full Bio: Jobe is an Alpinist and wilderness professional dedicated to exploring the limits of human potential in the world’s most challenging environments. With extensive experience climbing and guiding in remote alpine and glaciated terrain, he has summited peaks across Antarctica, Alaska, India, and the Lower 48, continually pushing his physical and mental boundaries.

Driven by internal fortitude for testing athleticism and endurance, Jobe thrives in austere conditions, balancing technical skill with adaptability. These achievements underscore his relentless pursuit of self-improvement and attempts at self-mastery in the mountains.

His certifications, including AMGA Apprentice Rock Guide and Avalanche Professional Level 1, a Nationally Registered Paramedic, all complement his leadership roles in Search and Rescue and field safety operations in remote regions. His work in Antarctica demonstrated his ability to operate in extreme environments while supporting scientific missions and fostering respect for the chaotic nature in which we even exist.

Derrick

Occupation: US Air Force

Location: Santiago, Chile

Full Bio:
Derrick is a 2010 graduate of the US Air Force Academy who has spent the past fifteen years in the intelligence field and continues to serve on active duty, supporting missions across tactical and strategic levels. His service in Colorado, Afghanistan, and South America ignited a lifelong passion for the mountains – a passion he now fuels in Chile, where his current role in international military diplomacy provides immediate access to the Andes.

Originally from rural Iowa, Derrick excelled in wrestling, football, hockey, and baseball. These days, he devotes his gym time to preparing for the next backcountry adventure, all while sharing his love for the outdoors with his two young sons and exploring alongside his wife, Saili.


Brian Reed


Occupation: Advisory Board, Guardian Revival / Wolf’s Edge Consulting LLC

Location: Hudson Valley, New York

Full Bio:
Brian Reed is a former tactical athlete and a retired US Army Soldier with 34+ years of active-duty service as an Infantryman.  Now a novice mountain athlete, Brian has been on a Denali expedition and multiple climbs and hikes in the White Mountains and upstate New York.  An advocate for active duty, first responder, and veteran mental health, he completed a marathon and (ruck) half-marathon (ruck) in a 4-month span to raises funds, generate awareness, and to honor the fallen.  He’s an annual participant in the Manion WOD, The Murph Challenge, the Extortion 17 Memorial Run/Ruck, and the CHAD1000X.


Catherine Wallace

Occupation: Tactical Strength & Conditioning Coach

Location: Florida

Full Bio:
Catherine is a highly experienced strength and conditioning coach with over 10 years of dedicated service in both athletic and tactical performance domains. Her career has been largely focused on supporting the United States military, where she has had the privilege of working with all branches of the Armed Forces.

She currently resides in Florida, where she works with the U.S. Space Force on the development of innovative human performance strategies and research initiatives. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys coastal surfing and spending time with her two Dobermans, Leo and Otis.


Dan Stuewe

Occupation: US Army Officer

Location: Hudson Valley, NY

Full Bio:
Dan is a career infantryman with over two decades of experience leading soldiers in various parts of the world.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dan has always felt at home fishing in rivers and lakes and hiking. His military service has provided him with a variety of hunting and outdoor experiences. Off-duty, he focuses on archery, backpacking, hunting, fishing, and training his two German shepherd dogs.

His introduction to MTI’s tactical athlete programming occurred in 2009 while training future infantry platoon leaders at Fort Benning, and he has been a consistent user and advocate ever since—always incorporating the training into each new assignment and continuously pushing his tactical athlete mindset further.  

As a husband and father first, Dan’s son is away at college, and his teenage daughter has just started high
school.
