DESCRIPTION
The Out of Shape Active Duty Army Fitness Test Workout Packet includes two linked training plans, totaling 13 weeks of training with a variety of army fitness test workouts to prepare you for the AFT. The first plan is designed to build your fitness to handle the volume and intensity of the AFT Training Plan that follows. You should begin this packet the 13 weeks before your AFT.
The packet includes:
- Out of Shape Active Duty AFT On Ramp Training Plan – 6 Weeks: Prepares athletes for the volume and intensity of the AFT Training Plan. Deploys Bodyweight Flow, DB/KB Strength, Work Capacity, Bodyweight Core Strength, and Endurance training.
- Army Fitness Test (AFT) Training Plan – 7 Weeks: This plan is designed to train specifically for the new Army Fitness Test (AFT): 3RM Dead Lift, Max HR Push Ups in 2 Minutes, Sprint Drag Carry, Plank for time, 2 Mile Run for time.
The AFT Training Plan includes a de-load/taper week, so the candidate can complete the programming leading directly up to the start date of the AFT.
