Job Title: Director of Research & Performance
Location: Remote, preferably in the Mountain West, USA
MTI, a company committed to enhancing mission-direct performance and safety for mountain and tactical athletes, is seeking a full-time Director of Research & Performance. The ideal candidate is a transitioning tactical athlete or a credentialed strength and conditioning coach with a tactical/mountain sports background. Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage research projects.
– Develop programming for military, law enforcement, fire, and mountain athletes.
– Provide customer service, including answering athlete questions.
– Write essays and articles on various subjects.
– Participate as a regular lab rat.
– Contribute to strategic-level business improvement initiatives.
– Work directly with Rob Shaul.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in any field.
– Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist/Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (CSCS/TSAC) from the NSCA, or ability to attain within 3 months of employment.

What MTI Offers:
– Salary: ~85k Base Salary.
– Health Care stipend covering 80% of the premium cost.
